As Spock say's,

'The needs of the many outweigh the needs of the few'.

With this principle in mind and although with a heavy heart the Sentinels have released Alex 'Hurricane' Sheldon.

It's never easy letting go of a favourite player. Not for me anyway. I do tend to hang on to these guys maybe a bit too long. But as time goes on it has become a little easier. Sometimes a well placed sale can make a difference - certainly not in the short term but after a while you begin to see that it's ok really.

Speaking from the heart, many thanks to Alex. He came in too short for a Centre but caused havoc on the court as a teenager. His switch to PF was smooth and he has done an outstanding job for us. We wish him all the best wherever he goes as we look now to his understudy, Bailey Papps to take over his spot. Who for the record is even shorter!

This season was mixed for us. We steadily climbed the rankings and looked strong throughout the season. Our adventures in the Cup Winners cup was fun, we led through the group and went one round through the knockouts. It was enjoyable playing some of these top European sides. I hope to get us back there again.

Must mention(s). Congrats to our friends and allies over at the Seagulls. They played outstanding in the third place round and well deserved victory for them.

Congrats again to the Dallas Mav's for the Championship, how can we beat these guys ! :)

Unlucky to Team Jenny and the U17's. Another great run in the qualifiers, this time only missing out points difference. Some really good results.

As far as the NT is concerned, I'll leave that to Mark but I believe once we cycle through the old guard we'll have a better shot at it. For the moment, keep the faith.
